This is the message from the MCP of AIESEC Indonesia: Dear AIESEC in Indonesia Network, I am writing this on behalf of National Team of AIESEC in Indonesia about the plane crash that happened this morning. Lion Air flight JT 610 was on a scheduled flight to Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung Island, on Monday, 29th October 2018, 6.20 a.m. Based on the spokesperson of National Search and Rescue Agency Republic of Indonesia (Basarnas), Yusuf Latif, the plane lost contact with ground control a few minutes after takeoff and was last tracked crossing the sea. Two of our internal stakeholders are the passengers on the plane. They are: 1. Vivian H. Afifa (Head of Incoming Global Entrepreneur of AIESEC in Indonesia 1718) 2. Nurul Rezkianti (National Coordinator for Bangka Project AIESEC in Indonesia) and one of our external stakeholder: 1. (Project information can be accessed here http://aiesec.or.id/wonderful-bangka-project-upcoming-collaborations-aiesec-indonesia-bangka-belitung-local-government/) So far, we already contacted the family and some of us are staying in the airport crisis center of Lion Air to get the official updates from time to time. We encourage all of our internal stakeholders to pray for all of the passengers and their family, as well as for the rescue team. We are going to send the updates when we got the official updates from Lion Air or government and all official updates regarding this from AIESEC in Indonesia will came from me personally.
